The mission of One Hundred Black Men of New York is to play a proactive role in leveraging our collective talent, ability and energy toward achieving meaningful gains for the Black community. One Hundred Black Men initiatives focus on education through mentoring, wealth building strategies, fostering economic development and raising awareness of health issues affecting our communities.

One Hundred Black Men seeks to serve as a beacon of leadership by utilizing our diverse talents to create environments where our children are motivated to achieve, and to empower our people to become self-sufficient shareholders in the economic and social fabric of the communities we serve.

- Increased active membership from 87 to 170 of the most successful leaders in and around New York City
- Junior One Hundred mentoring program served 136 youth Awarded $2,000,000 in college scholarships
- Nutritious meals were provided to 10,000 hungry New Yorkers through OHBM’s Annual Citywide Hunger Relief Program partnering with 20+ Black churches and organization across NYC
- OHBM/NFL colleges scholarships awarded to six black male students
New York City reached out to the chapter and awarded a grant to support Black entrepreneurship - Our Health and Wellness Committee is working with the NFL and Mount Sinai, the region’s top hospital system to launch a total health and wellness initiative for Black men
