We enjoy our 14th Annual day of golfing, (this year at Ardsley Country Club Dobbs Ferry, New York) as we fundraise to support Covid-19 recovery, hunger relief and our youth development programs.
All golfers enjoy complimentary brunch, green fees, cart rentals, hand-rolled cigars, and an outdoor awards reception. The OHBM annual golf outing attracts a high-profile array of New York’s business and community leaders and notables such as Ms. Debert Cook, Publisher of African American Golfer’s Digest, John Starks – NY Nicks [photos] seeking to make each drive count!
Seeking to find a sense of normality during these turbulent times, One Hundred Black Men is holding true to its commitment to scholarship and continuing to push the educational advancements of the next generation of young black men and women.
Continuing to honor our commitment to the Junior 100 scholarship program, we are planning to move forward with this year’s “14th Annual Dr. Roscoe C. Brown, Jr. Golf Classic,” our annual fundraiser that assists in raising money for deserving students to attend college.
However, with the current pandemic we want to remain cognizant of those affected by this economic upheaval and do our part to assist in relief. Proceeds from this year’s Classic will aid in expanding our “Citywide Hunger Relief ” program to support seniors and families in need by providing them meals under the guidelines recommended by the CDC. We hope that you will stand with the One Hundred Black Men by participating in this year’s golf classic and help support our efforts to support our community as we navigate the current climate.
